Day 1 of Freehab

We woke up earlier then early to catch the shinconsen which is like a bullet train.

3 hours later, which would have been 8 by a car. We arrived at Kyoto (Japan's old capitail)

After that it was back to the local train for Nara!

Nara is so interesting and OLD. In some of the pictures the ancient artifacts are before 725 A.D. Nara is also famous for the wild friendly deer that you can feed.

Then we saw the biggest Budda in Japan. which was outstanding and beautiful, and none the least it started to snow!!!

This is the size of its nose

Then it was back to the train back to KYOTO for day #2 Kyoto maddness!!!!!!!!!

Your visit to Kyoto, and the surrounding areas, looks like quite an enjoyment. It must have been breath taking to ride on such a fast train - at least it did not take you long to go from one place to another!! What a fun way to enjoy your vacation.

Love you lots,
